While every organization is likely to describe and implement themes slightly differently, strategic themes can be defined to capture the strategies that will be implemented to support the business model.  A theme is typically associated with the main, or high-level business strategies that form the basis of the organization’s business model and are very broad in scope. They apply to every part of the organization and define what major strategic thrusts the organization will pursue to achieve its vision.
